ABOUT ME

I am a Ph.D student at The University of Akron working in Dr. Henry Astley's lab which focuses on Comparative Biomechanics and Biomimetic Robotics. My work consists of designing a low cost, innovative underwater force plate that can sense small ground reaction forces. The force plate will enable scientist to break down the kinetics of animals that locomote and interact with the bottom substrate to walk underwater.
